Travel Alert: Swine Flu Pandemic
Summer is not yet over and it's just a perfect time to travel or planned vacation trip abroad especially now that airfare is within reach, thanks to airlines that gives big discounts to travelers but just recently, the world is again hit by the Swine Flu, an illness which infects pig but although this is not a fatal illness, the travel industries is again warned travelers to take extra precaution when traveling abroad especially to United States and Mexico where the outbreak of the Swine Flu occur.Here are some basic tips to avoid Swine Flu while on travel:- If anybody hears or sees that families in their communities are falling sick and have the flu, they should immediately report this to the health centers so that action can be taken immediately
- We should always practice hand washing and good personal hygiene
- We should all avoid crowded places
- For the meantime, avoid eating pork meat, in this case it may help you with your diet by eating vegetables or fish
The World Health Organization (WHO) is still studying how the virus is transmitted and what symptoms it causes, but initial results showed that pneumonia or acute respiratory distress is usually what kills victims. Right now, there is no real reason to be alarmed. But we always have to be watchful. Enjoy your travel guys!
